We were delighted to invite our members with InvestBraga to participate at the Conference “Braga – The Gateway to Global Connections”, Friday May 17, 2024 at Forum Braga.

We discovered Braga, its ecosystem and its position as a gateway for global connections and we learnt about why it makes sense to do business and invest in Braga with the participation of all the key business players in the City. It was the opportunity to celebrate Braga being elected the best European City to live. The survey covered 83 cities across Europe, totalling more than 70,000 interviews.

The conference featured a series of captivating panel discussions and conversations with experts assembled for everyone interested to know more about Braga, the city of the future.

This unique conference offered an unmissable opportunity for anyone wishing to find out what makes Braga and its region truly unique to live and to do business with. We gave a comprehensive introduction of doing business in Braga for those in Ireland thinking or starting their journey in Portugal entrepreneurial ecosystem, providing valuable insights and essential information and contacts and the opportunity to meet and network with key decision makers in the region.

We were delighted to count for this conference on the presence and support of Ricardo Rio, Presidente Município de Braga, H.E. Alma Ní Choigligh, Ambassador of Ireland to Portugal, Geoffrey Graham, Chair of the IPBN Board and its Board members as well as the IPBN Executive Partners.

And a special thank you to Invest Braga for the organisation of this event and for the venue.

The event was open to IPBN members and non members and was free of charge.
