The Ireland Portugal Business Network (IPBN) held its annual flagship Sustainability conference this year at IPBN member Martinhal Lisbon Oriente Tuesday March 18 from 0900 to 1pm, followed by a light lunch. You can see the complete gallery of images from the event here— 200 photos!
This was the moment where we celebrated St. Patrick’s Day with the presence of H.E. Alma Ní Choigligh Ambassador of Ireland to Portugal and the Minister of Public Expenditure, National Development Plan Recovery & Reform Kevin Boxer Moran.
The theme of the conference this year “Connecting territories: the best of urban-rural cooperation” was debated in a series of captivating panel conversations with experts assembled from Ireland and Portugal to share their knowledge and experience in the following challenging area:
It was a great opportunity to meet and exchange ideas with key players in the sector, from both countries on an important topic “Urban vs Rural development”. The conference indeed fostered cross-border partnerships between Ireland and Portugal for a more sustainable future.
Engaging with key industry leaders, IPBN members, and executive partners, and enjoy networking opportunities over a light lunch was a pleasure, and we hope it drives impactful change!
Special thank you for their support to our Executive Partners and our offical partner of the conference Chitra Stern, Entrepreneur & Founder of the Martinhal Resorts and the United Lisbon International School & host of the conference.
