Pedro is the Co-founder and CEO at Strongstep – Innovation in Software Quality, a spinoff from the University of Porto in Portugal. His wealth of consulting experience comes from both executive and board roles, his previous work as head of IT at the Portuguese National Health Regulation entity ERS, and as an international software egineering consultant in software for the last 21 years. Pedro also worked at Q-Labs by Ericsson, supporting software producers in process improvement and technology transfer programs. As Founder and president of Oporto Software Engineering Alumni Association, he has certified training in CMMI, GDPR, DPO and ISO.
He holds an undergraduate Degree in Software Engineering, a post graduate in Technology Entrepreneurship and Commercialization, and a Masters in Software Engineering and has been invited as a lecturer to Porto University; Barclays, and Millennium among others.
