Born in Lisbon in 1969, Pedro Teixeira kick-off his professional career as an external auditor in Ernst & Whinney (merged later on with Arthur & Young) for Banking and Insurance Sector.
He has held several senior management positions on multinational companies including CFO, Controller and Board Assistant of Akzo Nobel, Océ Copiers and Printers, Panasonic and Orizonia Goup (owned by Carlyle Investment Fund) where he had a main role on a start-up project for a new airline company (2006-2008).
Since 1999, he is Senior-Partner and founder of Taxlibris Consulting, a local firm with international scope and activities with customers in Spain, France, Italy, England and Denmark, to mention a few. As Independent Financial Consultant, he developed several projects for small to big companies within his firm client’s requirements.
During 6 years (2004-2010), he managed Taxlibris España in the Madrid Community.
Pedro has been developing his consulting activities for a long time on Investors relations and marketing, with several public and private clients within Portugal, Spain and overseas.
He is Graduated in Financial Audit (1993) and Bachelor (1989) on accounting and administration by the Lisbon University. He also holds the professional designation of Certified Public Accountant in Portugal.”
