IPBN Board member John Paul Prior said, "This week, I had the privilege of visiting one of our social partners in Guimarães, Northern Portugal, to get a firsthand look at how our Musicmaker Dublin sustainable guitar straps are made. This initiative, a collaboration between IPBN members Musicmaker Dublin and re.store®, upcycles excess materials from local textile factories into high-quality, once-off guitar straps, while also supporting social inclusion by providing employment opportunities to people within marginalized communities."

IPBN member Tony Redondo from Cosmos Currency Exchange said, "This week, Tony was quoted in the online edition of the Daily Mail newspaper in the UK. "This event provided an excellent opportunity to demonstrate the value delivered in recent years in the areas of Data, Analytics, and AI, while also strengthening relations with strategic partners in the region."

IPBN member Willian O’Brien from Green Rebel was excited to be in Hamburg this week as the city becomes the epicenter of wind energy for the next few days!

IPBN member Luca Marchesotti said, "LLMs have already been commoditized. AI evolves at an astonishing pace. What took other technologies decades to consolidate has happened within two years for LLMs. Low switching costs are a key driver. It’s easy to switch between LLMs like GPT, Llama, or Gemini because they all use the same common language—English."

IPBN Board member Mario Gago shared about his visit to the Algarve last week as part of the YTILI | Young Transatlantic Innovation Leaders Initiative Reciprocal Exchange AI Overseas tour. He said, "It was an incredible opportunity to have Pink Room contributing to its thriving ecosystem. The discussion between Hajj Flemings, Mark McSorley, and Miguel Rocha Fernandes on the impact of AI in the tourism industry was truly exceptional, and I was especially pleased to see so many local small business owners eager to engage with this topic."

Kayleigh-Ann M., a speaker at today's MMM in Porto shared, "One piece of advice I would give anyone currently in their last years of secondary or third-level education. Or even individuals well into their careers debating a career change or advancement. Specialise in sustainability. According to the majority of global hiring platforms, sustainability is the highest-growing job sector from 2022-2024 and that is only expected to increase. Not sure where to start?
