Strategic Vision for the 2020-2030 Economic Recovery Plan for Portugal

The document Strategic Vision for the Economic Recovery Plan of Portugal 2020-2030, prepared by Professor António Costa e Silva, at the invitation of the Portuguese Prime Minister Antonio Costa, aims to be a work to mobilize the knowledge of the Portuguese society, «to present us with a strategic vision for the country's economic recovery».

This document is now under public consultation until next August 21st, encouraging broad civic participation by sending contributions to the address: plano.recuperacao@pm.gov.pt

It has been developed around 10 strategic axes:

  1. Network of Indispensable Infrastructures,
  2. Qualification of the Population, the Acceleration of the Digital Transition, the Digital Infrastructures, Science and Technology,
  3. Health Sector and the Future,
  4. Social State,
  5. Reindustrialization of the Country,
  6. Industrial Conversion,
  7. Energy Transition and Electrification of the Economy,
  8. Territory, Agriculture and Forest Cohesion,
  9. New Paradigm for Cities and Mobility
  10. Culture, Services, Tourism and Trade.

Also, Francesco Serra, chairman of the Algarve Regional Coordination and Development Commission (CCDR Algarve), in an exclusive interview with Jornal do Algarve, takes stock of the operationalization of CRESC ALGARVE 2020's 318 million investments for the region and the goals of its reprogramming.
