Last year, Portugal managed to obtain 80 new investment projects from 15 different countries, worth more than €1 billion.
Portugal again exceeded the target of one billion euros of investment projects in 2019. This represents 80 new projects, 75% of which were of foreign origin, more exactly from 15 different nationalities, the Secretary of State for Internationalisation told the ECO. German, French and Spanish investments were the largest.
