Originally from Co. Louth, John left Ireland for the Middle East in 2009 to work in residential real estate in Dubai & Abu Dhabi. Over six years, John established and grew a small startup brokerage to 151 agents which he exited in 2015 when his company was acquired by Sotheby's International real estate division.

Today, John runs ProprHome, a next generation property marketplace based here in Portugal. ProprHome is focused on delivering higher trust, transparency and efficiency to the process of buying, selling, or renting property.
